Bubba has eaten the same thing, twice a day for 9 years except for the occasional Fruitable dog treat. The other day, I found out he will be crossing the rainbow bridge soon due to metastatic cancer, so the vet gave me the greenlight to feed him whatever his heart desires till then. His first photo (when he was just a baby) and his last photo before he left us. My heart is completely shattered. I know he's up there in dog heaven, running free and having the time of his life. Thank you for all the love and joy you brought into my life. You'll always be in my heart. 💔🐾 submitted by /u/TieSmall5878 to r/DOG [link] [comments]

This giant lover boy lived in the house behind ours. Every time he came outside, he would sit at the fence in that exact spot, and wag his tail, waiting for the kids to come out and say hi and give him pets and throw him sticks over the fence (the owner knew, and loved it). We lived there for almost two years, and gave him love almost every day, rain or shine. Last week we finally had to say goodbye. We gave him (owner approved) treats and my daughter sat with him for a long time talking t
