Lost Lex 3 weeks ago, and I think his brother finally realizes it :(

I made a shadow box memorial to give to my 2 sons who grew up with Lex. I made some negatives out of clay from the paw print the pet funeral home made for me. I purchase these beautiful wood acorn keychain ash urns to put some of Lex's ashes in, and these cute little plastic clear dog hair key chains. I must say, I'm pretty happy of how they turned out. One of my sons choked up when I gave it to him. Vaughn (the Am Staff) in the pic never really showed any signs of loss after Lex was gone UNTIL I finished the shadow box memorial and temporarily displayed it on the piano. He locked eyes with Lex and started getting excited and moaning. I lost it. Now, everyday since then, he makes a point to jump up and try to get as close as he can to Lex. Amazing really. We're lucky to have these precious souls in our lives. All animals really.
