I found out my puppy was on the euthanasia list before she was rescued

We adopted her September last year. She was only about 3 months old. Today i randomly looked up the website of the rescue that we adopted her from because i wanted to see photos of her siblings (completely out of nowhere lol). Anyway i scrolled way way down and found posts about her and the rest of the litter (they were all adorable), then i saw the first post about them. It was urgent because the rescue’s “partner” have them and the whole litter was gonna be euthanized. They were literal babies. I didnt know kill shelters also euthanized puppies with zero issues or problems. Why rescue when you wont even give them any chance.

My puppy is one year and three months old now. She was beside me while i was reading it and i just looked at her face and started crying. I know that might sound like too much but i just thought if the rescue wasnt able to get them? She wouldve been euthanized?? She was like 8 week old.

She’s the kindest, clingiest, goofiest girl and she makes us so happy. I am beyond grateful she was saved.
