Is having 1 dog okay?

I've been wondering, I only have 1 dog and I often think is that okay? They are pack animals and can't help think she must get lonely when I'm not home or even bored some times without a friend.

I do take her to the dog park near ever day to socialize but yeah.. Is one dog ok? Do you have one dog and think the same or just me?
