My sweet little Shiba mix buddy…he was my best friend and my twin soul. I’m going to miss him so much. 2013-8.10.25

He was the craziest little Nug man. I feel like I don’t know if I’ll ever adopt another dog. He was found at a shelter at 3 years old when I was 20, as a return cause he bit a member of his first family. My partner and I found him next, abused and anxious but he was everything I’ve ever wanted and the cutest little guy that I’ve ever seen. His personality had so many similarities to my own. I’ll miss him so much. I feel empty without him.

He was me and my partners first dog after moving out from our parents. He was there for me when my mom got sick, was my support when I cared for her, when she passed, then when my sister passed away last year he was always by my side. When I have my bad days or weeks with depression he always could make me smile.

He always wakes me up for his breakfast with pawing at me or little whines. It was so quiet this morning. No pawing, toe taps, no panting, no borks. To anyone who has gone through this, I feel the pain with you. This pain is unbearable today.
