Last night I lost my best friend. His name was River, he was 4 and I wanted to share him with everyone

As the title says last night I very suddenly lost the greatest friend I've ever had. We only had 2 years and 9 months together but I owned him the longest of anyone and I've never experienced love like I did with him. He was the best boy I could've ever had who loved cuddles and spooning during our many naps together and any food he could get his paws on. I just wanted to memorialize him out here on the internet so that hopefully others find joy in his goofiness and because I want his memory to live forever. He was the goodest boy and my best friend.
