This Was Chandler

Chandler was my absolute world for many a year. The type of German Shepherd that would have been a shining example for the breed (for good and for ill lol).

He also was a hero dog! Not only did he chase off two different people who were trying to break into the house though they knew people were home but he also saved our neighbour's kids.
There was an alley behind out house the kids would play in, a creep came upon our neighbours kids playing back there and went to put his hands on the youngest kid there while saying gross stuff.
Knowing that we had Chandler they pushed themselves up against our fence. Though he had been taught not to bark at the kids he absolutely lost his mind; so much so the fence apparently shook from how hard he was slamming into it. The creep freaked out and ran away. I say apparently cause we didn't find out about it till after the fact.

He was such a good boy, and I still think about him alot even though it will soon be three years since a surprise cancer took out his heart instantly without warning. The first symptom was death.

I just wanted to share Chandler with you and tell you he did his best to try to be the goodest of boys.
