| | Without going into the whole story, when I was in college I needed to give my dog up for adoption. I could not afford to take care of her and didn't have anyone in my life that I felt would do a good job. Year later, I am in a much better place. She has been adopted and I have no expectation that she would ever be returned to me, but if she's still out there, I would really just like to see her again. Even having closure that she's no longer with us would help. She would be around ten to twelve now. At the time of adoption her name was Sasha. I adopted her out in Seattle, and I believe it was through Homeward pet. The adoptees were an older couple per the adoption agency, as they did inform me of that. She also had a medical condition (a big reason for the adoption) which caused her to pee herself when she fell asleep. Medication helped, but it was likely she would need surgery at some point in her life, so it is possible this has happened and she does not have this issue any longer. If anyone does have information on her, I would be truly grateful Really this is mostly a hail mary to help tell myself I've done everything I could to see her again. I do understand my chances are very low. [link] [comments] |
