My Buddy came home today after crossing the Rainbow Bridge last Thursday

I miss my boy. I rescued him from the ASPCA. Had spent 4 years there in and out he went thru it according to his history. They made me promise not to return him. He had his issues. We worked through them and he was the Best dog. Best companion anyone could ask for. He never made a mess. He never chewed up anything that wasn’t his toys. He was just there every night I got home. Waiting for me. Going for walks and hikes on my day off. He was never a cuddle buddy. But sometimes Dad needed a struggle cuddle. He hated kitties with a passion. I still am reaching for the remote and hitting mute when there is a Cat on. He would lose his mind barking and looking for it if I was slow. Now he is in doggy heaven. Chasing all the squirrels and rabbits. Hopefully he had learned finally how to climb trees to get them. And no Buddy. That bush we walked past 6 or so years ago. Still doesn’t have any pizza crust in it. You ever forgot that magic bush with the pizza crust. You will always be my Buddy. Ty for all the love over the years. I did my best to give you the best life.
