| Jim #A5706800 is just 2 years old… a young, gentle soul who’s been let down by the world. He was found alone as a stray - and instead of finding safety, he’s now on death row. He doesn’t understand why he’s here. He doesn’t know why no one comes for him. He just quietly waits, hopeful -even now - for someone to care. Jim is sweet, soft, and sensitive. He’s shy and scared initially but never unkind. He greets people with a wiggly body and curious eyes, and though the shelter is overwhelming, he’s doing his very best to be brave. He’s good with other large and medium dogs (not tested with small dogs or cats), walks calmly on leash, and is easy to redirect. He just needs time, love, guidance and a calm home to help him blossom. But he won’t get any of that if no one steps up. Not unless someone chooses to save him right now. Can you foster or responsibly adopt Jim? 🆘 Fostering is free and temporary (until adopted) and possible in CA, AZ, NV, ID and the PNW Adoptions are possible nationwide to the right home If you can help, please immediately 📩 DM: @californiashelterpets or 📧 Email: [email protected] Please don’t let this gentle boy die never knowing safety, family, or love. Time’s up. He needs a hero. Downey Animal Care Center 11258 Garfield Avenue Downey, CA 90242 (562) 940-6898 [link] [comments] |
