Rescue puppy update

Good morning everyone! People asked for an update on the puppy I found in Louisiana, so I thought I’d share one:)

As soon as I found this baby, I knew I couldn’t leave her there. I cancelled my flight home, booked a rental car and made the 28 hour drive home to PA. She was an angel the whole way back!

I personally was not ready for another dog right now, but thankfully my mom was more than willing to take her in! She lives right down the street so I see Pepper (the name they chose) every single day!

We went to the vet asap for shots, dewormer and a microchip. After the worms cleared up, she was a completely different dog! She’s put on a really good amount of weight too. (first pic is right when I found her)

Even though she had a terrible first few months of life, she is the happiest baby ever! She loves playing with her staffy and chihuahua brothers, swimming and just relaxing outside. I think she is very grateful for everything we’ve done to help her and is absolutely loving her new life & home<3
