| Haofaa, also known as Tangkhul hui, is a unique hunting/guard dog bred by the Tangkhul People of Manipur, India. This ancient breed of dog is endemic to the Tangkhul people region and was used for hunting and guarding since time immemorial. This majestic and imposing canine is presently inducted in the Indian Army canine service and is the final stage of recognising as a standardised breed by various kennels org to preserve them.
