This is Dora. She’s 13, deaf since birth, and the love of my life.

I wanted to share some pictures of my dog, Dora.

She’s 13 years old and has been deaf since she was born. She’s been my companion every single day, sweet, stubborn, gentle, and with a look in her eyes that melts my heart. Although she doesn’t hear, she listens with her heart 😅😍

I know that, at this age, every moment matters. And honestly, that thought hurts more than I care to admit. Every time I see someone post their dog’s last photos here, my heart tightens… but I also feel incredibly grateful that I still have Dora by my side.

I know this might sound cheesy, but please: hug them. Love them every single day. They are such a big part of our life and we are their whole world.

To everyone who’s had to say goodbye to their beloved companions, I send a heartfelt hug. I feel your pain. I’ve always had dogs in my life, and losing them never gets easier.
