💔 Cody — a 3-year-old, neutered German Shepherd, 72 lbs, was brought to the shelter as a stray on May 1st.

This doesn’t have to be the end for him. Please — he urgently needs:

Cody is gentle with humans, he allowed the handler to pet him everywhere, his body remained relaxed, his eyes were soft, his tail wagged neutrally. He was mouthy at times, but with no pressure — he’s seeking connection and displayed no concerning behavior.

Cody did well with female dogs but didn’t do very well with male dogs in the yard. He became tense and hovered around them. He needs calm, non-reactive female dogs only and slow intros.
