Meet Arlo, was abandoned on the side of the road, and cancer survivor

No idea what breed he is, but he has unknowingly saved me. 2 years ago I was driving around a rural area for a "final" place. On a dirt road miles from any paved roads, i saw an emaciated sweet boy who was clearly very sick just laying on the side of the road. As soon as i got out of the car he came right to me. I knew then what i had to do, so off to the vet we went. Turns out Arlo had cancer in his right optic nerve and I was told it was easier and cheaper just to have him euthanized, rather than paying $12k plus for surgery and all that goes along with the treatment. But even though he was so very sick, I could still see light in his good eye, rapid tail wags, lots of cuddles, and always wanted to be right next to me. So, after pleading with the bank for a loan, my guy is happy as ever, healthy as can be, and just loves people. He deserves a chance to have a good life, not being abandoned in BFE because he was ill. For such a beautiful planet, we live in an ugly world.
