| Cali was her name. She was 13 years old and had been a huge part of our family since she was a pup. About five months ago, she was diagnosed with mammary carcinoma. The vet told us it was too late for treatment and gave her about two months to live. From that moment on, we dedicated ourselves to giving her as much love, happiness, and adventure as possible. We tried everything natural remedies like berries, turkey tail, healing herbs, ivermectin protocols, pH balancing you name it. And somehow, we were blessed with more time than expected, three extra months beyond the vetβs prognosis. But as much as we hoped, it still wasnβt enough. Last night, things took a turn fast. The cancer had taken over, and we did everything we could to keep her comfortable, including pain meds. She passed early this morning. And manβ¦ we miss her so much. Losing her is a painful reminder that life is incredibly precious and far too short. All the material things we chase donβt really matter. What truly matters is love being kind, spreading love to others, and cherishing every moment with those you care about. Because one day, sooner than we think, that time runs out. [link] [comments] |
