Beautiful sweet Merrick 2007-2025 (18 yrs old)

We lost his brother Cooper in February 2024. He has been winding down slowly and it was heartbreaking to see our amazingly athletic boy lose so many things. He had dementia and hearing loss and a neurological issue that made him appear drunk. He always maintained his loveability and sweetness and passion for all things food. We miss him so. It will be a week tomorrow when we had to let him go and this is my first social media post. It's been unbearable.
