![]() | I already own two rescue dogs. Both from two total different ages breeds & backgrounds. Both treated like crap, then saved by a rescue and brought into our home years apart. Our newest member of the clan (pictured above) Birdie, her start to life has been the roughest. She spent the first 4 months of her life in darkness. In a barn, with siblings, getting thrown food scraps from time to time, covered in saw dust, soaked in urin. The owner left them there, thinking he had his bread and butter and that he was going to make so much money off of them. He put in zero work, zero care, & zero love. And because puppies are so cute he did get some of them sold. But not birdie. She was left alone in the darkness. Then i was told about this cruelty and there was no way i was allowing this to happen. Through a very beautiful way i was able to get her out the barn the day i found out about her. She is now recovering with me in home, with her new human and doggo family. Birdie has eyes of honey. That just melt you to your core. She clenched onto me the first time she was put in my arms. She is learning to trust, learning to feel love, and learning to understand She will never experience anything like that ever again. Can she get a big warm welcome, because shes freaking awesome and really deserves it. [link] [comments] |
