| | Seven hours ago I was cuddling Sasha. Suddenly she started throwing up. 10 minutes later she had a seizure. And 10 minutes after that she was gone. I adopted her two years ago. Along with five other dogs. Sasha was four or five at the time. My eldest, Niña, now 12-13, has survived three deaths. All of them younger than her. I lost the first two already six months after adopting them. It hurt. But that was nothing compared to this. I live in the tropics and all dogs here have the heart worm. However the town vet did blood tests on my remaining four a couple of months ago. All super healthy and no sign of heart worm. But someone said that they thought this was heart worm related. I don’t know and maybe it doesn’t matter. Right now I just want to go to sleep. But how can I when I’m used to her sleeping beside me [link] [comments] |
