![]() | This is Twyla. She’s a 6-week-old something. Weighs just under 4kg. She’s healthy and strong, only issue was some booty worms but she got shots and is no longer carrying little buddies around in her turds lol. The unhoused woman said she couldn’t afford good food for her and didn’t have access to constant good water or a quiet sleeping place. After a couple minutes of conversation, gave in and decided to take her home; I’m not a huge fan of separating people and their dogs or like being the person that even facilitates that… but this situation seemed genuine and genuinely like a step up for all parties involved. She now lives in 5-acres and loves to chase little bugs and leafs blown in the wind. She’s absolutely crazy and gets zoomies every 10 minutes or so. Big time cuddler but also big time crack head. Total chewer and has already “rehomed” half my dog’s toys. She absolutely loves my 3-year-old, 87lb pit-mix, and he loves her. She is constantly gnawing on him and he is so patient and kind with her. Their most common sleep position is her curled up under his chin and him just resting his head across her whole body. But yeah, this is Twyla. [link] [comments] |
