It has been almost 9 months since you left me and I still cry myself to sleep at night.

The spot on the bed neck to me feels lonely and cold. I miss your soft fur and playful barks. The way you would paw at me to get attention and sit in the window to watch me come home form school. I miss walking in the forest, tossing ball a late evening or stumbling over you at night as you follow me around and blend with the carpet. Sometimes I still expect to see you when I return, waiting for me at the door, barking and wagging your tail. It’s hard to imagine how you’re just gone forever.
