Picked up my pup from surgery. Why does his eye look like this??

It’s just 1 eye. it looks like the bottom part of his eyes is loose.

I’m starting to get worried I picked him up yesterday from surgery. He swallows a corn cob and had to get it removed When he closes his eyes there an open pocket in his eyes.
