Casper has been my best boy since adopting him in 2015 at six months old; he had a rough start in life and I wanted to give him everything. He was my lifeline during an abusive relationship, my best friend. Casper was my shadow, always right on my heels wherever I went. He behaved like his cat siblings and thought he was a lap dog at 68 pounds. He was diagnosed with Large cell Lymphoma less than two weeks ago. The cancer was aggressive and unkind; I made the decision to help him across the rainbow bridge. This grief feels as though it will swallow me whole. Posting online gives me anxiety, but I needed to share my beautiful boy. He was too good for this world. Gives your pups a good head scratch and belly rub for Casper and me. [link] [comments] |
