Saying “Goodbye” to Max tomorrow. Bad arthritis, failing eyesight, and old age have caught up with him. Very tough decision but he’s not enjoying life anymore.

1st pic: watching the pigeons, first year we had him 2nd pic: this week; sleeping the day away.

We rescued Max as a Senior, at approx 8 years old. He’d obviously had a difficult life. He has never liked men, loud noises, bouncy dogs, and still won’t tolerate being cuddled, held tightly or touched unexpectedly. He’s always been a quirky, stubborn old thing, but we then didn’t want a ‘bland’ dog. He’s a typical terrier! We’ve given him nearly 6 years of love, comfort, companionship, walks & adventures……. and being spoilt of course. I love him to pieces. I’ll miss the old grump 😢
