Dusty Update!

Hello! There has been quite a bit develop in the last few hours. I took Dusty to a veterinarian hospital to get a quick once over and check for a microchip. They did find a microchip and looked up the information. Apparently, his microchip is registered in a town 75 miles (!!!) away. They tried calling the number twice and left messages with my contact information. They gave me the phone number as well and I tried calling with out any answer. I found Dusty in a very rural area and the Vet said they see this from time to time with abandoned animals. 🤬

I’ve tried three more times now over the last two hours and left messages saying that I have this dog in my possession and they needed to answer my call. The last phone call I made was just screened to voicemail. I left a message that just said “He’s my dog now. Lose my number.”

Thank you to everyone for your generosity on GoFundMe! I was able to afford to take the day off work tomorrow to make the two hour trip to the veterinarian our family uses. He’s the best vet in the world!

As far as I’m concerned, he’s home.
