How to save my dog/puppy with parvovirus at home?

This is how I saved my dog's life(5months) from parvovirus at home for $300. My dog has been sick for 4 days before we decide to take him to the vet to get checked. We don't have the money to let him stay at the vet overnight and they said he won't make it without intervention. I instead asked them if I can get medications worth $300 to take home with me so i can try save him myself. These are the meds and notes from the vet that I followed rigorously:

MEDICATIONS:
• [Cerenia]anti vomiting- Give 1/2 tablet by mouth every 24 hours.

• [LRS]fluids for injecting under the skin)- give (20 ml/kg) 500ml of fluids under the skin 1-2 times a day. Next dose due tomorrow morning. (1 liter bags LRS with 18-20 gauge needles + 3 extension set) If the fluid is still bubbled under the skin then you can skip the next dose.

• [Clavamox] 250mg tabs - Give 1 tablet by mouth every 12 hours. This is an antibiotic. Next dose due today MoRnimy

• [FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS]: Do not offer Baki food unless he has not vomited for 6 hours. You can start by giving Baki (1 ml/kg) of Hill's a/d every 4-6 hours and if he does not vomit for 24 hours, you can increase the amount. You can also offer a mix of boiled chicken and white rice or low fat cottage cheese and white rice if Baki is not interested in the canned food. You can stop giving the SQ fluids when Baki is eating and drinking well.

Note: he was given iv, injectable antivomiting and injectable antibiotic at the vet(included in the $300 i paid for). I continued to give him antibiotic even after he's doing well. Please do not try to buy your own medications. These are designed for dogs so don't buy meds intended for humans.

His symptoms before taking him to the vet:
- not eating
- bloody diarhea
- lethargy
- abdominal pain
- rapid weight loss

The vet also told me to:
* not force feed him because there is a chance that food and water will go to his lungs and it will irritate his throat so he wont want to eat anymore which will make everything much worse. While we did it during the first 4 days, i do not recommend doing it.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND WAITING 4 DAYS BEFORE TAKING YOUR DOG TO THE VET. Most dogs die within 3-4 days after showing symptoms. My dog is literally on the brink of death before we gave him the meds he needed. I hope this post will help even just one dog owner. I know everyone doesn't have extra money for the costly bill of vet overnight and would like to let anyone know that its possible to save your dog at home.

I will continue to reply to comments for as long as i can so feel free to ask me about our experience.
