One of our dogs passed away yesterday :(, the another one is not eating well now, she doesn’t eat even her favorite treats :( I know she(Ruby) is greiving, I am staying and playing with her this weekend but from tomorrow, I have work all week long, Aunt is taking turn to be with her, but my aunt would just let her live in the house while she is doing things, I am worried if it wouldn’t be enough. Will Ruby feel lonely? Since she and the one passed away have been always together since birth :(( what do I do?
By the way I can’t help but cry while I am with her. I really miss the passed one and I know she does as much as I do. She used to play a lot but now she just stay quiet, especially when I cry. It says they feel distress when we cry, do they?
I appreciate all the advices to help her through this difficult time. How long do dogs grieve?
