Hambone's 12th Birthday

Today is Hambone's birthday! I try to make him a dog friendly cake every year (some combo of flour, apple sauce, xylitol free peanut butter, shredded carrots, and eggs with a sweet potato and peanut butter "frosting"). This year I made it with Japanese sweet potato and added a boiled carrot in. The carrot kind of made flecks so it looked like a doggie confetti cake. Confetti cake is my favorite so was pleased how it turned out.

I love you Hambone! You'll always be my puppy forever.

And sorry if this breaks the sub's rules, but there is a decidedly not dog brother of Hambone who wanted to know what all of the fuss was about in the last photo.
