I want to share the story of Daisy, our first family pet—despite never having a dog before, my brother unexpectedly brought her home without consulting anyone. She lived a wonderful life filled with many precious moments.
We were never skilled at training dogs, but Daisy was the best-trained one, understanding our native language, Punjabi.
I still don't know if this could have been prevented, but she was off-leash and was tragically run over from behind. We rushed her to the hospital, hoping for the best, and were told she only had 24 hours. She was in pain, and it was heartbreaking to make the decision to euthanize her.
