I’m sure this just a drop in an ocean of people losing their canine companions, but I just want to share this amazing pup with whoever I can. He was the sweetest, gentlest, lovingest guy. He loved to cuddle when we were all relaxing in bed, and jumped for joy every time it was time for a walk. He was nine years old when he collapsed at the end of our evening walk, I’m not sure I comprehended what the vet was telling me as they tried to resuscitate him, but apparently he had swelling in the sac around his heart and it burst. I had him since he was a puppy, and now he’s just gone. I thought I had so much more time with him. Hug your pups and tell them you love them.
