Im So Proud of my Puppy!

This is Phoebe, she is 11.5 weeks, her mum is Flat coat retriever (I thought mum was a golden retriever but shes actually a fairly small, yellow flat coat retriever (yellow is a recessive gene in flat coat retrievers) and dad is a border collie, springer mix. So phoebs is a mutt but with three very intelligent breeds in her lineage and lots of energy and a very strong will to learn!

I have been teaching her all soets of things in the week that I have had her here with me (i picked her up last monday 14th Sept). Since friday I have been using a butlers bell to reinforce going outside to peep and poop so every time we go out I use her paw to ring the bell. Yesterday she started ringing the bell herself! So now 90% of her peeps and poops, she is recognising and asking for access to the garden by either ringing or bringing me the bell! I am so shook by how clever she is! I am obviously preempting the other 10% and we are accident free in the house after just 8 days and at 11 weeks and using a bell to signal needing to use the bathroom! Im so proud of her! She is also sitting on command and to wait for her dinner, not begging for food, but lying amd facing the other way, 1/2 way to being crate trained and walking pretty nicely on her lead. Im so loving this dog. Shes my 4th dog but the first i havent rescued. All my dogs have been super good and well trained, but this one is a flipping prodigy!
