Puppy yoga :)

recently for my birthday i went to Little Yoga Paws here in Australia, and met the cutest of puppies! im not one for big parties, im autistic and would rather have something comforting, like puppies. i have such a huge heart for dogs, and even as im here typing this im honestly really upset and ugly crying. i know this isnt the subreddit for venting, and no dogs have been lost, dont worry. but i just get so upset over people mistreating animals, especially dogs. we dont deserve them. humans have all the empathy in the world yet all the selfishness in the universe. and somehow, selfishness wins. i want to go back to Little Yoga Paws just to be with the puppies again, to cure just a bit of my soul for a while before it becomes hollow again. I would love to see Sarge again, but he has probably been adopted by now.

i honestly dont know what the black and brown dogs were, i think they were Beaucerons? but the one im holding i named Noctus because the staff there didnt remember the name of him, and the one on the floor is Sarge. the Cavalier is Lacy who stayed on my mother's lap the whole time, sleeping in that *one* position, for a whole hour. all of the puppies were so sleepy! there was another puppy named Socks, but Socks was busy playing with the staff.

a great thing about Little Yoga Paws is that they dont expect you to do yoga, considering how distracting it is to be around puppies. this was a private session and i asked for no instructor, since i dont enjoy yoga and just wanted puppy time. shelters dont usually do puppy play interactions, so this was the next best thing.

i would love to go back there again, i would love to just be suffocated in a pile of wagging tails and little tongues.
