Mixed Breed: Trying to Figure Out Mixture

We are fostering this little dog through the county shelter. We’ve had him about 24 hours. He’s very sweet and we are thinking about adopting him, but I would like to know what he is to figure out if I’m up to the training and exercise needs. We know he’s mixed - we are trying to figure out the possible combinations. He’s about 10 inches tall, 24 inches from but to head, a 22 inch chest, stocky build (thick front legs and very muscular back legs), 31 pounds, substantial feet, wire hair that’s about 3 inches long but not a thick coat. He’s also very smart. We named him Kato.
