He chased after the pickup that dumped him outside my office

Surveillance camera video showed a red pickup pulling into the parking garage, pushing him out, then driving off with the dog in pursuit. A sweet lady in the building management office took care of him for a couple of weeks, but she has a small place and another male dog.

He's ours now. Meet Mac, short for Maccabee, a nod to my wife's Jewish faith. The poor guy had obviously been abused. At first, he flinched every time I raised my hand to pet him. But he's enjoying the petting, belly rubs, and ear scritches. We love him, and he appears to love us.
