In Loving Memory ❤️

Three years ago I adopted the love of my life. Toasty was my baby, my little shadow and one of the greatest sources of happiness. I'll miss her soft fur, derpy eyes, the sweet little crawl she did when she wanted to be cute, her cute sounds of joy, and the way she would jump up excitedly to greet me and cover me in kisses. She helped me through so much and when we had surprise kittens she helped raise them when their mother wouldn't. Her and the kitten we kept were very close. She loved going outside, chasing birds and other small animals. She would chase cats too, but she only wanted to play with them! Her favorite treats were her dental treats and rawhide bones (knotless). She was so tolerant and loving towards children and my own shenanigans, even if they confused her. She always knew what to do when I was sad. She loved her puzzles, she started with a medium but that was too easy for her so we got an advanced one and it was still to easy, but she loved it anyway. Her favorite toy was a small gingerbread house chew toy, she would carry it around everywhere. She was my service dog before she got sick and she was very good and well behaved.

Toasty's love was so deep and pure. She showed me what unconditional love truly felt like, and I hope she knew how deeply I loved her too.

Her life was far too short, being only 6 years old. Her body was failing her in the end, but I made sure her final days were filled with love, treats, cuddles and anything she wanted. I gave her pizza rolls the night before, she always wanted those, and all of the treats she wanted the morning of. I stayed with her until the end; she died peacefully in my arms.

I love you so much, Toasty. Thank you for three wonderful years. I will miss you forever, my precious baby. 💜
