My handsome boy finally at peace

Lost my childhood pup today. Would’ve been 14 in December. He held on so long and was so strong, even saw 3 of his siblings pass in his life time.

Apollo is the most gorgeous pup in the entire world, we didn’t go on a single walk without at least one person complimenting how beautiful he is. He loved to chase rabbits and deer, only caught rabbits a handful of times but man did he try! The most gentle being ever when it came to humans, other pets or treats. He took his treats so daintily and softly. His favorite treat has always been peanut butter. But my favorite memories of him are his “serial killer” moments when he would find all of the stuffed animals in the house and chew off the hard, bead eyes if they had them. We would come down to eyeless stuffies everywhere and his proud little smile. Never once did anything wrong in his entire life, expect the first day we brought him one he ate my brothers roast beef sandwich off our kitchen counter :P (my brother deserved it)
