There wasnt a flair that was appropriate. This is more of a vent than anything else. But this morning my Mal was losing it whining at the front door. She's normally pretty excited to get our morning work going. But this was a bit different.

Imagine my surprise when I found two pups, who have to be littermates sitting in the dirt near my stoop like they own the place. Both male. Both cocky and confident. But the one facing off camera didnt seem to be doing too good.

Obviously they were dumped. I live way out in the sticks in north central Texas. Id really like to get my hands on the sorts of people who do this crap.

So now we are at the vet. Not sure on the breed. But they seem to be 8 to 10 weeks old and judging from everything else, will be huge.

Edit: They're healthy ish. The single sock pup tested positive for Lyme diesease. I have a neighbor lady up the road who says she will take him. She will be coming by tomorrow to see him and decide for sure.

Getting another dog wasnt on my bingo card this year. But Im gonna keep him. Im a mid 50s retired guy so I definitly have time for him. But with the volunteer work my Mal and I do for a local SAR organization I'm not exactly sure where this guy fits into things.

The vet says they look to be a Pyr mix. Probably with a lab.
