My Baby Girl was Diagnosed with a Degenerative Brain Disorder Today

This is Layla. She’s only 8 years old. She’s the bestest girl, and truly one of a kind. I’ve had dogs my whole life and she’s got the biggest, goofiest personality out of all of them. She is a true cuddle bug and couch potato. Her favorite activity is roasting like a puptato in the sun and rolling in the grass. Her favorite human food that she tries to sneak is pizza. She knocked one off of the counter as a puppy and has never looked back lol. She moos like a cow and hops around when she’s excited about something. She was just cleared in Oct from two TPLO surgeries (done back to back) and now this happens. My sweet girl has been through so much, I just wanted her to live a long and peaceful life.

I got her not long after my mom passed away from cancer and she’s really gotten me through some hard times, so it’s going to be so hard to lose her. Best case scenario we get 2-3 more years, according to the neurologist. Say a little prayer for her and us if you think of it ♥️ My heart aches with grief tonight.
