Foster Fail

I knew this would happen eventually, just not so soon.

My wife and I fostered one other time and everything went well. We felt great about the whole process and were happy to pair the puppy with a loving family. Then this guy showed up last week. He's from Alabama and came with the name "River". He's special. He fits our family like a glove, we fell in love immediately. He's the sweetest dude and wants to be everyone's best friend.

This will probably push us back on fostering for a little bit, but we have a new member of the family. My daughters and other pup are thrilled.

I'm curious if any other people have foster failed but continued to foster successfully?

Does anyone have a guess on what breed he is?
