Good news: Shep doesn't have valley fever.

Bad news: Shep doesn't have valley fever.

This means that the x-rays we saw last week are most certainly indicative of osteosarcoma (aggressive bone cancer).

According to our vet he has about 3 to 6 months left.

My parents think he just sprained his ankle, but the x-ray comparison doesn't back that up.

I'm committed now to make his last days with us the best that I can. I give him loves every chance I get.

Every dog lover knows the moment of goodby will come. It's our duty to make sure our buddies are comfortable until the very end.
