How to get dogs to tolerate one another?

How to get dogs to tolerate one another?

We recently adopted 2 great pyrenees puppies both 6 months old, one male (Butterbean) and one female(Coco). My small yorkie mix (Destiny) is 10 years old female.

The male is fine with Destiny as he just ignores her exempt for occasionally sniffing her but if she growls or walks away he doesn’t bother her further. However, the female is relentless. She constantly wants to play with Destiny but she doesn’t reciprocate and will bark and growl at her but Coco won’t stop trying to play with her. They’ve never truly bitten eachother, but Coco has put Destiny’s whole head in her mouth without biting down and has pinned her before we quickly separated them. I would like for them to atleast tolerate being in the general vicinity as I don’t expect them to be best friends.

I suspect Destiny might have been mistreated at her first home (were her third owners, have had her for 8 years) and she is very aggressive towards other dogs and other people she doesn’t know with the exception of older southern women (me too girl).

We don’t want to have to get rid of the other dogs and we just hope to have them able to be around eachother.

Edit: I see now that I’m likely overreacting probably because these are the youngest dogs I’ve ever really adopted as I’m used to older more tired dogs. Thank you all for your words of reassurance.
