I am in my fifties and lost my 12 year old dog last month. After spending over 7k in vet bills I realize I can no longer have a dog. I have a good job but live alone, I feel at this age I can’t afford a dog anymore and it makes me sad. I feel alone without my best friend but it’s so expensive now. Sorry had to let it out because it’s been killing me keeping it in.
