Pup had complications with anesthesia but is alive and well!

This is my Baby Bow and I'm happy he is okay

We went to take him to get neutered and when he went under anesthesia the vet said he got really cold, his heart beat was off, and he stopped breathing so they stopped and rescheduled the procedure.

My heart broke when I heard this but I'm super happy the vet made the call to stop!

He doesn't look too good today because he is over stressed and has been crying for a bit.

Today I'm just hanging out with him and creating a calm environment for him to emotionally recover.

They assume it could be because he was very stressed coming in to the vet so moving forward he will take anxiety medication before his next appointment.

They made him the first appointment of the day so he doesn't have to see any people or dogs when he comes in, hopefully helping with his fear of the vet.

I'm definitely stressed to take him back there but I have faith that the vet will do what is best for him, she is a good vet. But believe me I'm going to be stressed the whole day that day!

I've never had this happen to any of my dogs growing up so I was shocked!

I'm just happy he made it home today healthy.

He can't eat yet but when he can I'm going to give him really good food, a treat for him.

Anyways, wish us luck for the next appointment!

(Also I don't understand the flairs so I just put oc, but I'm not sure if that is correct. This post is just to vent a little as well as celebrate his health)
