My childhood dog Odie passed away on Father’s Day

I’ve had my dog Odie from 2009-2026 he was 17 years old and unfortunately he passed away at 1:30 am right on Father’s Day due to his enlarged heart
He’s seen everyone I’ve seen my whole life, my first pet cat Pone, my Grandma and Grandpa, and my Dad who all unfortunately passed away and loved him dearly. He’s also been with my Mom, seen my best friend but 3 years ago I moved away from them to live with my partner. Odie’s been so happy here and we had so many new experiences and opportunities I’m fortunate he got to experience before he left. He loves to play, sun bathe/ go for walks and whenever he can have some he loves pizza, he was so sweet and extremely gentle, even though thing were getting harder for him to do towards the end, he never wanted to stop trying.
Me and my partner have been crying non stop and feel so alone without him, whenever I think back to everything I feel so far away from it all.
I’m so happy and great full to have had him in my life. Does anyone have any advice or experience on the after life of a pet? I desperately need advice or just condolences, I still talk to him and I had a dream about him but I hope to still get more dreams about him in the future.

Thank you for reading, I know Odie would appreciate it too
