| Shameless post for my main man Chuckle-bubs. I have always struggled to be in the moment. Charlie came into my life at the ripe young age of 9. I received him from a close family friend who was a professional dog trainer, he had spent his life as a training aid for videos and in person training sessions. He came to me trained, disciplined, and more importantly, patient. There is never a moment where he's not near me with a smile on his face. I can't walk into the kitchen without his masterful tap-dance and "subtle" reminder that there is a big ass bag of bully sticks on top of the fridge. He's always ready to play fetch, snuggle, or just be next to me. He just wants to be. I am slowly learning that from "da business man" (idk it just happened). I'm learning to love just being. My hikes are no longer lost in thought but spent looking around me. Thank you, Chuck. Here's to many more years. [link] [comments] |
