Having a dog is the best

This is Emma, my little furry baby. She's 2 yo. She's my best friend, my companion, my partner in crime and the love of my life. She's the first dog I've ever had and I'm so glad we found each other. She saved me, she fixed me and she loved me from the very second she saw me, even when I didn't really know how to love her back. We've forged such a beautiful bond. I never in my life imagined I'd ever know a love like this.

Now I bring her up in every conversation. I go back home early to be with her. She loves being the little spoon when we sleep and she wakes me up with kisses every morning. I never knew the company of a dog could be so comforting.

This is just a love-fueled stream of consciousness with no real point other than to appreciate her and all your dogs too! We're so lucky to have them.
