Rescue rejected us because we already had an adult female dog?

Thankfully we found a different one who gave her a chance at a sibling! Now our girl Banana is besties with her (admittedly annoying at times) little sister, Ofi.

Unfortunately a few days after we brought Ofi home, Banana was attacked by an off-leash dog; even so, she never got aggressive with the puppy, and stayed so patient💕 She’s all healed up now, and they’re the cutest nap buddies.

(Pics go from their second meeting a few months ago to today. Please note that we don’t let Ofi chew on Banana’s tail, even if it seems like she doesn’t mind😅. I went to take a photo of them cuddling and caught the moment right before I stopped the hair-eating😵‍💫)
