| In Loving Memory of With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved Archer, affectionately known as Archie, on May 29, 2026, at the age of 12. To know Archie was to love him. He was larger than life in all the best ways...a goofball, an intense personality, a silly soul, and one of the sweetest love bugs to ever grace our lives. He had a way of making his presence known, whether it was through his signature "woo-woo" conversations, his relentless pursuit of snacks, or his unwavering determination during playtime. Archie approached life with enthusiasm and intensity. Nothing brought him more joy than a toy attached to a rope and stick. The moment he saw one, the world around him seemed to disappear as he focused entirely on the game at hand. His hearing was legendary as somehow, from anywhere in the house, he could detect the faint crinkle of a bread bag or the opening of a cheese wrapper. Within seconds, he would appear at your side, hopeful eyes fixed on you, convinced that surely a piece was meant for him. As a puppy, Archie was wild, energetic, and more than a little mischievous. He kept his dad on his toes and occasionally drove him a little crazy. But with time came wisdom, and Archie eventually settled into the wonderful dog he was meant to be. He found his groove, embracing the comforts he loved most: neck scratches, sniffing expeditions, and his cherished lovie, which he carried and nuzzled like a pacifier throughout his life. One of Archie's most memorable quirks was what happened when he became truly excited...especially when food was involved. His jaw would chatter so fast it sounded like a helicopter preparing for takeoff. It became a tradition to laugh and shout, "Get to the chopper!" whenever the unmistakable sound filled the room. Those moments brought endless joy and will forever live in our memories. Archie was more than a pet. He was family. He was a loyal and steadfast companion who loved deeply and was deeply loved in return. He brought comfort during difficult days, laughter during ordinary ones, and companionship through every season of life. His devotion was constant, his affection unconditional. His beloved canine brothers, Asher, Tucker, and Petey, must now learn a new normal without him. While our home feels quieter and our hearts immeasurably heavier, we are grateful for every moment we were given with him. The hole Archie leaves in our hearts will never be filled. His paw prints are forever etched into our lives, and the memories he created will continue to bring both tears and smiles for years to come. You were one of a kind, and you will be missed beyond measure. [link] [comments] |
