Grateful to have Hope and Kira in my life

I'm currently experiencing physical problems, mostly bedridden because walking and sitting are difficult.

I've been bedridden for two weeks now. (I'm undergoing medical tests to determine the next steps. I hope it's just physical therapy and a drastic dietary change... because otherwise, surgery is the only option, and that terrifies me.)

Hope and Kira are staying by my side; they don't leave me alone, although I wish things were different and that I could take them on our usual walks and play with them.

I don't know what I would do without them. They always manage to make me smile. I'm so grateful to have them by my side; they are the most beautiful thing in my life.
