Is this a good idea?

This is the first time I have seen this technology - images taken on Granville Island. Is this pet-friendly? What if you have a slightly larger pup-pup? Note that it can only be used when temperature is less than 22°C (for obvious reasons). Not sure if there is a charge - what happens if your $$ time out? Or is this great and I need to get onboard?
